The most special day for the young blooming kids was celebrated very enthusiastically at the G.N.I.A Campus. Fancy Dress competition was organised for the pre-primary classes wherein the students displayed their outstanding talents. Talent Hunt Show was organised for the primary classes wherein they portrayed themselves in the most energetic and enthusiastic way. Special Assembly organised by the teachers in the attire of school students added more to this Special Day.

School educational trips play significant role in enhancing students learning experience by providing opportunities to participate in activities outside their normal routine. Keeping their in view, the students of class 10+1 &10+2 visited the nearby local Post Office. Mr. Krishna Sachdeva, the head of the Post Office, informed the students regarding the working methodology of the Post Office. The Children were excited to see how letters were stamped, sorted and put in to different pigeon- holes as per the area they have to be delivered. The trip was full of fun and excitement and great learning about the post Office in today’s time of emails. As an educative and fulfilled trip, it left a lasting impression on the young minds.

GNIA, Abholi believes in building conscientious global citizens of the world in whom values of peace, harmony, empathy and non- violence are deeply ingrained. It is with this mission in mind that our school has undertaken the celebration of the UN International Day of Peace which is celebrated all over the world on 21st September. The students of class I and II participated in this activity by wearing white colour dresses which symbolizes peace.

Mega Health Camp Held


A mega health camp was held at G.N.I.A on Wednesday to spread awareness among the students regarding their health. Various medical checkups related to eyes, teeth, and blood were done free of cost. Dr Pradeep, a renowned eye specialist of Sirsa, Checked the eyes of the students and advised them how to take care of their eyes and to improve their eyesight. A team from J.C.D Vidyapeeth examined students teeth and suggested valuable points regarding the safety of teeth. Blood group identification was done by the team from Lord Shiva College of Pharmacy. All the Respected members of Management Committee were present throughout the programme and the camp was successfully accomplished under their guidance. Hoshiyar Chand Sharma(Vice President Lions Club Sirsa Diamond), Sadhu Ram(D.S.P, Ellenabad), Mrs Sunita(S.H.O, women police station sirsa), Puneet Bansal(Cabinet Secretary) Lion Chandarsekhar Mehta, Lion Ravi Monga, Lion Sanjay Gandhi and the other members of Lions Club sirsa were present to grace the occasion. Mrs Saloni Bajaj(Headmistress of the school) expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards all the honourable guests and advised the students to be aware regarding their health. All the respected guests were honoured by giving mementos as a gift at the end of the programme. The school also received a memento by R.S.O for its good actions done in the direction of social welfare.

The pious traditional festival of Janamashtami was celebrated with great fervour at GNIA campus. A special Assembly was held wherein students depicted the bond of friendship between Sudama and Lord Krishna by way of beautiful Jhankis. Students of POGO WORLD came dressed in according to the theme of Festival. A beautiful high hanging Matki-Handi was prepared. Girls performed beautiful dance. The Music and Dance Teachers of GNIA made the students display their talents on melodious performances relating to the theme.

'Raksha Bandhan' or 'Rakhi' is a special occasion to celebrate the deepest bond of love, affection, care, trust and respect between a brother & sister. Including and considering the above mentioned emotions a Special Assembly was conducted at GNIA to celebrate and spread the significance of the festival. To commemorate this festival, Rakhi making competition (3rd to 5th classes) and Thali Decorating Competition (6th to 8th classes) was also held. The children enjoyed this competition which was aimed at strengthing the bond of love among them. Students made beautiful Rakhis using diffrent articles like silken thread, ribbon, glittered sheets. In Thali Decorating competition students used the concept of Best out of waste. The Management,Principal & .Vice-Principal witnessed their creativity & was highly impressed and amazed by the efforts of the students.

We know that learning takes place outside the classroom as well as inside it visits are highly valuable educational experiences. We also know how much learning inside the classroom is enhanced by visits outside it. GNIA organized a visit to Govt. Hospital, Rania on the occasion of “International Nurse Day” Students present flowers to the nurses to make them feel special and wished them. Visit to the hospital was organized visit to the hospital in continuation with experiential learning. Students visited the various units in the hospital such as Vaccine Storage Room, Homeopathic Ward, Dental Surgeon Room and Labour Room etc. Students interacted with Dr. Ajay (Dental Surgeon) who gave them brief knowledge about teeth and oral care. He also gave valuable tips for proper dental care including good diet frequent cleaning of the teeth after eating, and regular dental checkups is essential. It was all a wonderful and enjoyable experience for students as well as the teachers.

Mother's Day Celebration


It is truly said, “God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mother. In honour of all the mothers who shower selfless devotion on their Children without any expectation, G.N.I.A Celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. A special assembly was held to aware the Children about the importance of Mother’s Day. Students showed their love and gratitude towards mothers by presenting heart touching song. A special debate was also conducted to highlight the contribution of mothers in developing her child’s life. Mrs Saloni Dumra Bajaj, the Headmistress of G.N.I.A praised the efforts of the students and teachers for the beautiful performances. In her short speech she threw light on the role of mother and encouraged the students to fulfill their duties towards their mother who is the epitome of love.

Earth Day was celebrated at GNIA Campus with full enthusiasm. POGO WORLD celebrated the special day by planting various saplings in the school campus. The middle wing of the school witnessed the Nursery visit, where they learnt about different parts of plant. The senior wing displayed their talent by involving themselves in the Poster Making Competition.

Paudhagiri Scheme


Paudhagiri Scheme- Under the Paudhagiri Scheme Project organised by Haryana Govt, saplings were distributed to the students from class VI to X. The students were guided to plant those saplings at their homes, farms, parks, Temples or other nearby areas where they can atleast take care and maintain it for a minimum period of one year. Great Initiative by the Govt to save and protect the Environment.

Baisakhi & Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti


The Primary wing of the school reverberated with enthusiasm during the Baisakhi celebration. The entire wing was decked with phulkari and flowers. Children came dressed in traditional Punjabi colourful outfits with ornaments and accessories. They relished Baisakhi special dishes to mark the festivity. Different activities related to the festival were organized such as ‘ Hand painting with yellow colour’, Making of flower on ice-cream sticks and pasting of flower on wooden tree for the classes Pogo, Nursery and K.G respectively.

Every year, April 7th is celebrated as the World Health Day. This day gives us another reason as well as a motivation to follow our health resolutions and start being concerned about it. School celebrated Health Day by giving inspirational messages in the School Special Assembly and by conducting Essay cum Handwriting Competition for all classes. POGO WORLD students enjoyed themselves in the Pajama Party which included the Art of Brushing techniques and their relative importance specially connected with the theme.

SPORTS MEET (2017-2018)


" An Athlete cannot run with money in his pockets. He must run with hope in his heart and dreams in his head." Sports plays an integral part in shaping @ providing Holistic development of a child. With this view in mind Sports Meet at GNIA Campus for session 2017-2018 was organised. The Chief Guest of the Day Dr Yagdutt Verma District Education Officer(D.E.O) Sirsa and Guest of Honour Dr Virender Mehta Block Education Officer (B.E.O) Rania and Sh. Arun Mehta Editor Samargosh Newspaper Sirsa graced the occasion with their kind presence. The Sports Meet started with March Past and Oath Ceremony. The shortlisted finalist students performed with enthusiasm and true sportsmanship in all the relays and was a spectacular event. The Event was full of vibrant and colourful drills performed with perfection by junior and senior sections followed by various races like Frog Race, Back Race, Tug of war, etc.. The highlight of the day was Welcome Special and Thanks giving clap by Scouts & Guide Camp students.
